My office is now accepting nominations for the "Women of Distinction - 63rd Assembly District" recognition ceremony. I would like your help in identifying exceptional women from our district. The ceremony will take place in March, commonly recognized as "Women's History Month."

Candidates for the 2014 Women of Distinction Awards must live in the 63rd Assembly District and must have made a significant contribution in their category in the past year.

One woman will be selected from each category and awarded their respective award title. Nomination Categories:

• 2014 Woman of Achievement in Environmental
• 2014 Woman of Achievement in Education
• 2014 Woman of Achievement in Civic Engagement
• 2014 Woman of Achievement in Business
• 2014 Woman of Distinction
• 2014 Young Woman of Distinction

A fifth award will be recognized; one woman will be selected from all the nominees and presented with The Woman of Distinction award. Candidates for the 2014 Women of Distinction Awards must live in the 63rd Assembly District and must have made a significant contribution in their category in the past year.
