This holiday season, I invite you to join me in giving back to our community.

My office is proud to partner with the California Highway Patrol for the annual CHiPs for Kids Toy Drive at the Lakewood Center. Together, we can help bring smiles to children and families in need during this special time of year.

There are two easy ways to participate:

• Drop off at my District Office
  You can donate a new, unwrapped toy anytime between now and Thursday, December 4 at my district office in Paramount.
  Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. - 5 p.m.

• Toy Collection at the Lakewood Center
  I will also be joining community members for a toy collection at the Lakewood Center.

Every toy makes a difference and helps brighten the holidays for a child in our community.

La Temporada de la Buena Voluntad y la Generosidad

Durante estos dias festivos, unete conmigo para contribuir a nuestra comunidad.

Mi oficina se enorgullece de colaborar con la Patrulla de Caminos de California (CHP) en la colecta anual de juguetes CHiPs for Kids en el Lakewood Center. Juntos podemos ayudar a llevar sonrisas a los niños y familias que más lo necesitan en esta temporada tan especial.

Hay dos formas sencillas de participar:

  Puedes donar un juguete nuevo y sin envolver, en cualquier momento entre hoy y el jueves 4 de diciembre en mi oficina del distrito en Paramount.

Join Assemblymember Jose Luis Solache Jr., in partnership with the City of South Gate and Southeast Rio Vista YMCA of Maywood for a free turkey distribution event!

Free turkeys are available to residents of Huntington Park, Maywood, Walnut Park, South Gate, Lynwood, Paramount, Bellflower and Lakewood. No walk-ups are permitted – please drive up to receive a turkey.
