SACRAMENTO – Today, the California State Assembly introduced SB 118, in response to a recent court ruling regarding student populations at public universities and colleges. The bill gives higher education leaders 18 months to address CEQA-related issues before decisions impacting enrollment growth can be issued.
Speaker Rendon Leads Assembly Delegation to United Nations Climate Conference
SACRAMENTO— Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon (D-Lakewood) will lead a delegation of Assemblymembers to the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26) in Glasgow, Scotland. The goal of the Assembly delegation will be to inspire other nations to adopt more urgent climate policies and to learn progressive policies from other nations that may benefit California.
