PARAMOUNT, CA – On Friday, August 15, Assemblymember José Luis Solache, Jr., Chair of the Assembly Committee on Economic Development, Growth, and Housing Impact (EDGHI), will bring together local leaders, workforce experts, and small business advocates for an informational hearing at Paramount City Hall to address California's growing affordability crisis.
The hearing, Making Sense of California's Economy: Real Cost Pressures and Household Impacts Facing Los Angeles will focus on how targeted investments in working learners, career-aligned job pathways, and microbusiness growth can expand economic opportunity and help stabilize the cost of living for California families.
"Los Angeles County is one of the most economically dynamic regions in the country, but too many of our neighbors are being left behind," said Assemblymember Solache.
