A Tribute to Chief Clerk E. Dotson Wilson

(Sacramento) - The California Assembly congratulates Chief Clerk and  Parliamentarian E. Dotson Wilson on his retirement. The first African  American to serve in this capacity in the country, Wilson is also the  longest serving person in this position in California history. Roughly  4,000 Californians have answered the call to serve in the California  Assembly, and Wilson has personally worked with nearly 500 of them.
