(Long Beach, CA) – Early learning programs for four-year-olds and the unique needs of dual-language learners were the focus of the Assembly Blue Ribbon Commission on Early Childhood Education's hearing in Long Beach. The Commission, created by Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon (D-Lakewood), will now develop a set of recommendations for early education and make proposals to the Legislature to implement that plan.
