(Sacramento) – The new 2018-19 state budget is a responsible, balanced spending plan which includes a substantial reserve. That’s how California State Assembly Speaker Anthony Rendon (D-Lakewood) described it during the floor debate prior to the vote. “This budget bill touches on every part of California that we love and on the things that we would love to improve,” Speaker Rendon told his colleagues. “This budget is a plan for building something great. It moves us towards the California of our dreams.” Here’s more from the Speaker in this Assembly Access video.
