(Sacramento) - Assemblyman Anthony Rendon (D-Lakewood), chair of the Assembly Committee on Utilities and Commerce, recently gaveled an annual oversight hearing regarding the California Public Utilities Commission (PUC). Assemblyman Rendon said, while he’s encouraged by assurances from PUC President Michael Picker that the PUC will be modernized and will improve transparency, he’s determined to find prudent legislative solutions to ensure the PUC regains its footing as an ethical organization that the public can trust.
