(Lynwood, CA) - March is Women's History Month. As part of the celebration, California State Assemblymember Anthony Rendon (D-Lakewood) recognized "Women of Distinction" in the 63rd Assembly District during a special ceremony at Bateman Hall in Lynwood. Assemblymember Rendon acknowledged that the women closest to him taught about strength and wisdom at an early age.
"Virtually all the lessons I learned in my life were from my mom and my sisters," stated Assemblymember Rendon.
