(Sacramento) - Assemblymember Anthony Rendon (D-Lakewood), along with several colleagues, spoke at a recent capitol news conference about a nine bill package of legislation to address the drinking water crisis in California. "Drinking water contamination, especially from groundwater, touches every region of our state, as much in urban communities as rural communities. In Los Angeles County alone, 89 communities, home to 8.4 million Californians, rely to some extent on an aquifer that is contaminated," said Assemblymember Rendon.
