In partnership with Kinecta Federal Credit Union and Leuzinger High School, Assemblymember Burke held a free "Bite of Reality" financial education workshop, with the goal of helping lift children and families out of poverty by teaching students the importance of financial literacy.

Sacramento, CA – Senator Mike McGuire, Chair of the Senate Committee on Governance and Finance and Assemblywoman Autumn Burke, Chair of the Assembly Committee on Revenue and Taxation, announced plans today to work together and implement the recent United States Supreme Court decision in South Dakota v. Wayfair, Inc. This decision authorizes states to begin collecting sales and use tax from online and out-of-state retailers without a physical presence in California.

(Inglewood, CA) - Assemblymember Autumn Burke (D-Inglewood) hosted the fourth annual Back-to-School Health and Wellness Fair in Inglewood to provide kids with free health and vision screening in preparation for the upcoming school year. “This event is only a small portion of what our commitment is to making sure that our communities are healthy, happy and educated on what the best life is for them,” said Assemblymember Burke. “We want our children to live their best life.
